The range opened this weekend and they are doing a grand opening in the morning.
Range hours are now 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. They went with those hours to appease.the neighbors, never mind that the range was already There when they moved there. They ,the neghbors are already complaining about noise and traffic. |

When Hartland Sportsman's Club was still open the noise issue was brought up at every Common Council meeting by the same whiners even though they couldn't do squat because of preemption. Unsuccessful at that, they started expressing concerns about lead contamination. Ultimately, it was the round out incident that did the Club in. |

there should never be a round that leaves this range over the berm 20' high between ranges and 30'+ impact berm. there is a 25,50,100, and 200 yard lane with three double shooting benches . That doesn't mean that those that want the range gone, would not sink to bottom feeder status and "find" a round that went over..... |

I know it's been mentioned before, but i'm having problems finding it. Can someone post the directions, and/or rough location? Also, do they have any specific rules out there? (no MGs, .50BMG, paper only, tannerite, etc?)
And most importantly, somewhat handicap accessible? (looks like it). Restroom facilities? Planning on taking my handicapped father out there Saturday. |

no restroom facilities or trash cans that I saw when I was there.
take county C from highway 73 just inside Wautoma city limits on west side to Bicentennial rd, turn right about a mile up past the curves is the entrance. there is a sign on county C right before Bicentennial rd. I have a picture of the range sign with rules on it I will post later. there are 3-4 handicapped parking spaces right up front near the ranges. |

Stopped out with Murooka and the old man today. Nice looking place, but already people are leaving shit behind. Cleaned up as best we could. Old man had fun, the handicapped benches really came in handy. We got off one round with the .50, and tore up the rim trying to extract. lol...
They do have a porta potty onsite. Looks like it might be wheelchair accessible, but didn't test it out. Strangely enough, we had 3 cars come and go while we were shooting. Never stepped out, just checking the place out I guess. |

A farm has been there for 150 years. Yuppies / rural lifestyle wannabes build next door. Soon after they're bitching about noise, equipment, odors, etc. In some areas, they've gone as far as to group together and attempt shutdown lawsuits. |
