Has anyone been to the open house at Volk Field? Is it worth going to? I have been to the open house at the Hardwood Bombing Range and it was AWSOME!

I concur, once you've gotten used to attending EAA Airventure every year, the Volk open house isn't that exciting. I'm an airplane nerd all around though, so even "boring" to other people, is still fun for me. Getting to fly in to see the show is the really cool part, and the part which I'll finally be able to take part in once I finish up my private pilot's license next month.
