Ok so I decided carrying my M&P was going to suck now that hoodies are just too hot. Now I'm big, but I still print pretty bad with that full size tucked IWB. So I was at Fleet Farm and picked up a Kahr CW9 and put it side buy side with a M&P much smaller and man did it fit my hand. I tried the CM9 but it just didn't fit well. So I get to pick up my new pistol Monday night, I know a few guys here have Kahrs, how they running? Oh yeah they are also running a sale on Spam Cans of 5.45 for 139, thats what AIM gets for them, grabbed one of those for Roasted nuts!!

| I have two cw9's, no problems to report. They are really tight when they're new, about 200 rounds and they feel better. Get an HKS 943 loader, the mags are a pain in the ass to reload. |

I've had nothing but good experiences with the Kahr series. The P380 is too small for me, but the K9, CW9, and PM9 I have experience with have been great. Haven't run into problems with the mags, myself. But I do recommend carrying the spare mag in a pouch, because the top round isn't carried as securely as most other magazines. (Of course, pocket carry of any mag exposes it to lint, pocket grit, etc., so isn't good anyway.)

| I love my CW9 it's my daily carry gun, I've got shot 600+ trouble free rounds with 100+ of those being Federal 147gr HST's, Icarry mine in a Theis Holster. -Todd |

As for the OP about Kahrs, I've had the CM9 since 9/20/11, carried it every single day since 12/10/11, got about 400 rounds through it, and had zero problems (other than the spare mags "unloading" themselves in my pocket). The CM9 fits my big hands better with the extended mag than it does with the standard, so I bought two extended mag spares. Cheaper Than Dirt had the best price, just under $30. Don't know if yours will be like mine, and also 3 others that I know that have the CM9/CW9, but they like 147gr bullets the best, as far as hitting where aimed. 115gr bullets impact significantly lower than point of aim past 10 yds. 147s are right on the money. Never had to touch the sights with the 147s. Surprisingly accurate out to 25yds too. Needless to say, I've become a big Kahr fan.

I have had both the MK9 (steel) and the PM45 (plastic). I like both weapons and they were very accurate, reliable and easy to shoot. I traded them off when my interests changed (it happens often)
The only thing I did not like about both pistols was that 50% of the time the last case being ejected out of the mag would hit me right between the eyes

Oh yeah, use the slide catch to release the slide (as it states in the owners manual). Pulling back on the side to chamber a round can cause it to hang. They must be trying to address people easing the slide forward. Every time you fire a round the slide goes back and chambers a round, so if you do it properly and let it "snap", what would be the issue.?

I just checked their site... I guess they're all gone. There is one listed as "reserved" and that's it. The number on the reserved one is FL33, near the very bottom of the page. They're not "excellant", they're brand new, still in the bag. Frontline has their own website. It's listed there as a model FL3102. What I like about it is it holds the mags above the belt line, so they don't show as easy if wearing an untucked shirt and you bend over. What I don't like about it is it's wide, & takes up a lot of belt space. |
