I just picked up an M1 Garand and was wondering if anyone on here had experience reloading 30-06 for one.
Any recipes and or suggestions on powders and such, I plan on using Hornady 150g fmj bt's. I will be loading on a Dillon 550B, and I read on another forum that IMR 4895 doesn't drop well from a Dillon powder feeder? does anyone have any knowledge of that ? Thanks, Dave |

you will get a lot more responses in the reloading forum.
and tag. as i just got a garand as well but have been too scared to load anything for it yet as if you load it too hot you can bend the oprod. i believe keeping the FPS under 2700 is the thing to look for. they also sell adjustable gas knobs for the garand, so you can shoot commercial ammo, and not limit yourself to surplus or reloads |
