Hey Gents.

I have a co-worker of a friend wanting to sell some ammo.

7   - 30-06 (DEN 42) AP rounds
28 - 30-06 (DEN 43) AP rounds

Does anyone know what they are worth? IIRC they are corrosive primered during that era.

Last box of 20 I bought was for $15 and I felt I overpaid.

Usually you can find it for $5 per en-bloc clip at the shows.

I too bought a box of the denver AP at a show for $15 a few years ago, with no plans to shoot it.

I don't recollect seeing any ammo for sale on en-bloc clips at local shows.

I don't know offhand but if you browse through gunbroker and a few of the other auction places I am sure you will get an idea of what they are going for. Last I knew though, just for the projectiles, Last I knew they were going for about a buck a piece.  Then again it has been a few years since I have looked last.

i should clarify. i only buy components to reload. so that buffers me a bit from the price shocks.
however even pulled AP 3006 bullets are getting crazy expensive.

Yeah you aren't kidding, I got like 300 last time when they were about 50 cents a piece. Pulled ones that is and then I had gotten 100 loaded rounds that I pulled 92 of them (kept 8 for a garand clip) the rest I loaded into 308 cartridges.

Thanks for the replies guys. Im def not going to pay a $1 per round but I will make the guy a fair offer.

I am still waiting for another guy to decide if he will take an offer on some French 30-06 ammo. 300 rounds or so.
