We were talking about places with good wings.

I read over here we have a new choice, Wingstop on Miller Park Way.

But that's not all. I once drove to IL to check one of these out and they have the first in Milwaukee...

Like he said on the blog, if they add vodka (and maybe Jack and other) buttons on the machine, the Coke Freestyle would be perfect.

Now we need to find out if the person who blogs on that site likes guns too...

WING PARTY! (Note to self: bring flask)

Looks like he only tried the nuggets.  I find their regular wings, not breaded, to be pretty blah.  Nothing special, same as cooking some Tyson wings at home and drenching them in a sauce.  Now if you like spicy and breaded, Lenci's in Kenosha has got some great wings.

Legend Larry's are THE_BEST_WINGS in WI (and better than most I've had around the country).

OOOh, challenges!

Maybe we all grab a bunch of local wings, and meet up somewhere for a Wing Off!

Just say when. I live 10 blocks away, and there's a decent shooting range DOWN THE STREET.

This is the only place in WI that has even remotely good Buffalo Wings.

In fact, they win (or at least place) at the Buffalo Hot Wing Competition every year in Buffalo, NY.

We were just there last nite for dinner. Nothing tastes better than some Legend Larry's Hot Wings and Old Style beers.

Yeah but if there happens to be a public range nearby, one could justify a little side trip.

I My kids just want to go to Wingstop to use the Coke machine. I My kids have issues.

Tried Wingstop yesterday evening. I was not real impressed. I guess Quaker Steak, Johnny Hammer's, and Tailgators wings have me spoiled.

ETA the Coke Freestyle machine is pretty bad ass.

+1 on my own damn thread.  Exactly our experience tonight.  Not impressed.  The best thing they had was fresh hot yeast rolls.

The Coke Freestyle was a big hit.  The employees were pissed because every time they came out of the back to get their soda, the kids were working on it.

They were out of some "flavor" cartridges though.

Now school me on where to go to try one of these.

I saw a Vietnamese place across the street but apparently they are a noodles only sort of place.

Hm, I would not doubt Chu Hai on Appleton Ave would have many of the needed items for that (best Asian store that my wife and I have found so far to get some of the things you can't find anywhere else).

I need to stop in, but I've been told Uncle Mike's in Kenosha has some good wings.

I'm really not a fan of Wingstop, since I was never able to get good wings from that place.  I only ever tried the Sturtevant / Racine one a couple times and then they went under.

DO NOT go to Pho43. I gave it an honest try, the food was flavorless. I feel bad for the guy who runs/owns it. Middle-aged Vietnamese guy. Seems like he poured his heart into the place... I've never seen anyone there.

Are those in Racine or Kenosha?  I'm in the mood for some good wings without making my house smell like a fryer!
