What a small world. We just brought home a female Havanese about 4 weeks ago (Fergie). Historically I've preferred larger dogs, but I've got to admit that I'm really happy with this little ankle biter. She's a quick learner, sleeps through the night (usually) and has had very few accidents in the house. She's also very spunky and will stand up to dogs 10x her size. She has a very sweet temperament and gets along with everyone and other dogs.
I think you'll find this to be just about the best of the small breeds. |

Being married to a cat woman? I would take the little dog woman before a cat woman any day. What if that cat woman was 5'10", Blonde, likes your Labrador, former river guide, likes camping, anything with a gas engine, knows how to use hand tools AND will fix stuff, picks up a G21 for the first time and within the first mag makes hits at 25 yards with it, then takes your friends scoped AR and hits spoons at 100 yards (AKA takes direction well). Then goes out and buys her own Revovler, Glock and Keltec 9mm carbine that uses the same mags, then buys an AR lower so she can build her own AR. What if she is a natural at sporting clays and can beat the average male shooter while just using a lowly 20 gauge? What if she does not like little dogs? Is a good cook and likes what you cook too. Would you still not be interested? I settled the first time, I am just trying to inspire others not to do the same. What if that Cat Woman does exist? What if? (I mean one besides mine. Mine is real.) |
