Im in the market for a new high power varmint scope for my new .308 and came across vortex. Apparently they have a show room/store at there main office or something like that. I haven't seen or handled any of there scopes and was wondering if they are any good and if anyone has ever been to there store? Worth the 4o min drive?  Thanks for the help!   If it helps I have a leupold vx3 6.5-20 on my ar and love it so I'm looking for a scope equal or greater to that. Budget is about 800 , 1000 would be absolute max. My dad put a Nikon monarch on his varminter and I'm impressed with that scope for the money it was!  On a side note, I looked through a sworozski the other day and it ruined. Me for life.  Someday hopefully get one

They have their own forum in the Industry section, you may get a better response there. Vortex was at the HTF event this summer and had a bunch products as well as competitors so you could compare them side by side, don't know if they offer that at the HQ.

My nephew used to sell their products, he introduced me to Vortex.

I've been using their scopes for about 5 years now.

Viper

Strikefire

I know I have a ton more pics, will look later.

Bottom line, they make damn good scopes with one of the best warranties in the industry. Lifetime.

Stop by and see Shamus or Sam, great guys, and great products!

I was there about a year ago. Things might have changed since then. They have a display area in the front of the office. They were more than happy to let me take a look at anything they had, but no retail sales on sight.

Vortex has some great stuff.  And super easy to deal with.  My favorite is the Viper PST.

They make good scopes, I need to save up some pennies and get one of the Viper PST's.

And their warranty is awesome.

I have a Strikefire on top of my BCM and love it. Stopped by the MSN office after I got it to see if I could swap the "low mount" for the co-witness mount, and they were happy to do it. Very friendly folks and glad I did business with them!

Yes, I can give them a thumbs up!
I use the Viper Pst line but they have some new stuff that is slightly less expensive but pretty much the same thing with less fancy adjusments and no lit reticle IIRC.
Great sponsors of 3-Gun matches!
