I just got an email from AIM Surplus that they have Spikes Tactical 10.5 upper groups in stock. This is a pretty damn good deal that I'm strongly considering, but is just owning this considered intent if I don't have a stamp yet for my stripped lower? I do own two other AR-15's, and a stripped lower which I intend to engrave, and make into a pistol while my Form-1 is off in La-La Land. The lower was registered on the 4473 as "other" and not listed as a rifle or a pistol at the time of purchase.
Now to go hide my dog just for even asking...

IANAL, but I'd think if you've got a bare Title I lower that transferred as "Pistol" or "Other" on the 4473, you'd be okay and clear of any "constructive intent" regarding SBR's. I'd think the constructive intent would only come into play if you had only lowers that had gone on 4473's as rifles, or used a rifle-style buffer tube and had a spare AR stock somewhere in your possession too.

| If you own any of the following you're good to go: pistol, sbr, or machine gun. Doesnt matter how many lowers or uppers you have as long as you own at least one of the mentioned. If you don't have an sbr, pistol registered lower, or an machine gun then you can get into hot water. |
