Where would be the best place to score 500 or so rounds of 147-150 grain .308 to feed this damned FAL of mine?

I love shooting the thing, but it is threatening to eat me out of house and home.

I would like the ammo to be in the $0.50/round range if that even exists any more.

And at that there was a Dillion 650 set up for .308 on CL in Appleton last week not sure if its still there.

Otherwise Shawano Gun and Loan has Bandoleers of 75 rounds for I think 35 dollars but I bet they'll make ya a good deal on it.

Try to find DAG surplus.  Comes in 200 round battle packs, green, similar to the old SA stuff.  Some shops have it on the shelf for $109/200 and it has been available online for as low as $79/200 from AIM and the like.  AIM is sold out but I'm sure there's some out there yet.  It's damned fine ammo for that price.  Fed through both my FALs and SCAR like a dream.

Radway Green links of 4, $67.00/160/1can or $252.80/640/4cans:

Shipping can hurt a little, but this is '93 stuff, so somewhat new.

Edit: these are NOT US 30cal (30-06) cans, but smaller 308 cans.

The 80-83 Sellier and Bellot is corrosive.  The Port currently on the market is tarnished, some quite badly.  I stay away from both.  MEN is similar to DAG but made in a different country/factory, for some reason I think "G" in DAG is Germany and "N" in MEN is Netherlands but that's probably incorrect.

When I bought my M1A I bought a reloader at the same time.  I am very glad I did.  I like to shoot high powered rifles and that reloader has saved me some serious money over the years.
