Hey guys.. looking for some help.. I have tried Google and I don't know if I'm just over looking it or what. So here the deal. My fiancee had an old friend she recently started talking to again and some of the, to use polite terms, shit her friend is accusing just isn't adding up. Long story short she is claiming that her to be born child's father had a warrant and jhas now been arrested. Some of the details don't add up and we are thinking its all a load of crappy. Now I have checked Wcca ( Wisconsin circuit court access )and there is nothing..  I was looking for a way  to see if he did get arrested and or if he is in jail so we can call bs and eject.... Anyone have any thoughts or another way to find out ? Thanks guys

I agree. I was hopeing to show her that its not someone she should have back in her life and she's catching on that things aren't adding up and I figure if I can put the final nail in the coffin then I would. And no more of this bs

Well, did he claim this was in wisconsin?  That his warrant was here in wisconsin and he was arrested in wisconsin and charged with a crime, etc?

If so, then it will be on WCCA.

The only exceptions to WCCA are juvenile cases & family court actions dealing with child support. This person could have warrants due to non-payment of child support and it would not necessarily be available on WCCA, but if it's an adult and it's a criminal complaint, it'll be there unless charges haven't been formally filed yet.

I would have expected it to be on WCCA. From what she is being told it was a warrent because never showed up for court. Last year i met this indivual and was less then impressed and my fiancee did everything she could to get away from him and her... it has worked well until recently when she was contacted by her old friend again and the drama started being told to her again... ( her old friend has a habit of not telling the truth and making things worse to make her self look better) my fiancee is about to eject but hasnt yet and i was hopeing confirming this as BS would make her eject for good.

Thanks for the info. Cant wait to get home and put an end to this and get back to our normal lives!

Portage County does not have records in WCCA.

Not sure about other counties, but AFAIK, it is not mandatory.

The easiest way is to either go in and ask the Cty Sheriff's or Clerk of Courts office about the warrant.

It is FOIA info and open knowledge. Some counties even have a booklet listing in the lobby with a reporting phone number like 1-800-get-them.

As for WCCA  all counties usually have CCAP on their cty websites as well. Usually less filtered.

Everything is available from driving citations to major crimes. The only problem is that clerk of courts updates this statewide info and they do not do it efficiently all the time.

Hope this helps.

Municipal court.

OP, find out where he was supposedly arrested at.  Call the jail there and ask.

Not everything is in WCC.  I have a distant relative that was arrested for drug charges in February and it's still not on there, but the other person who got arrested with him is on there.  SO I llok at it as it's a good starting point but it's not the final word.

Good for the two of you. Drama is more than annoying, it sucks your time and sanity.
