Heard some good things about the place... thinking about taking a trip up

Great place and worth the trip. Friendly staff and owners. I would not hesitate to take a trip up there. Not all prices are what I would consider great but many are pretty good.

Great little shop, most everything is reasonably priced especially after you consider adding in shipping and or hazmat fees.

Not a very wide selection of bullets, just Hornady and Sierra I believe, but they do have most brands and makes of primers and powder.

Nice place especially for the trap, skeet and sporting clays folks that reload.

Nice people as well. They supply many of the Conservation/Trap/Skeet/Clays ranges in the state with clay birds.

As previously mentioned, lots of trap equipment and loads. They do stock rifle and handgun as well, but not as much as shotgun IIRC. Been about 6 months since I've been there.

There is also a large Ace Hardware store in Sauk City that has a good selection of rifles. Mostly hunting rifles and a few Ruger AR's. The Ace store also had a good supply of ammo the last time I was there. I was at Recobs a week ago and they had a good selection of ammo in cases on the floor as you walk in.

Almost forgot about that place. IIRC, they used to sell a bit of militart surplus items as well.

The gas station on the corner down the road about a mile. Maybe a BP. has a sub shop instide. Great subs and friendly women that work there.
