Is there such a thing? i know it only just snowed in some parts of the state and most people don't think about target shooting about now in Wisconsin with most thinking about the gun deer season but I'm wondering if there normally is a Frozen Nuts Shoot? and where it normally happens?

The frozen nut shoot usually happens the last weekend in January. The last two years it has been held at the Yellowstone range. Not sure of the history before that.

Yes there is such a thing.
As posted earlier, it has been traditionally held in late January, at the Yellowstone Lake State Park rifle range.
There are / were video clips from prior shoots on Youtube, if you are interested.
