I was on a weekend trip with a few friends (one of them is also an arfcommer). We stopped in Sun Prairie to fill up at a BP. While we were at the pump, a car pulls in. I glance at the back and see a BFL. I've seen them on cars at arfcom shoots before, but this is the first time I've spotted one at random "out in the wild". So of course I told my friend to pull alongside so I could yell at the driver like a buffoon (well, we did have a brief exchange). Sorry for breaking OPSEC to whoever the driver was. I just couldn't pass up this rare opportunity.

I liked your "Sometimes I worry about zombies" bumper sticker too.

I'm just glad they didn't flip me off and drive away. I've heard of similar things happening in other BFL sighting threads....

We did have a brief exchange- I identified myself as an arfcommer. There was no blading at 45* or draw-downs. It was a fairly uneventful encounter.

I work as a full time Asst. Fire Chief in the Madison area. On a box alarm fire call another firefighter from Sun Prairie outed me as an ARFCOM'er after seeing the dinner pics I posted from the fire station with my helmet.

That was me.

The guys inside the gas station were all "WTF was that about?!"  We were headed to the Packer game, but had to sell the tickets and turn around due to raging stomach flu.  The crazy part is, one guy is from Texas, shoots a crapload of guns, knows Arfcommers and still had to have it explained. (He was the sick one so I'll give him a pass.  The game probably would have made him sick anyway 45 - 7 )

Only time I have seen Arfcom stickers in the wild was at pre-arranged gun meets and gun shows.

I've only seen one in the wild, near the Oak Creek Farm and Fleet.

Really ought to get one, though I should probably get a logo for a different firearm.  But then nobody would recognize it and the point is moot.

Is one of them a larger pickup / work truck?

I'm not too far from there either.
