| Does the vehicle have to have a working odometer to pass the inspection? I have a 97 Chrysler Cirrus which has a digital odometer that works when it wants to. Anyone have a guess? |

Not sure but I don't think so. I have not had to go through emissions in 10 years now. From what I understand all they do now is plug in to the OBD2 computor port and check the gas cap. There could be more but I am not sure. |
| Yep, its pretty much only the counties immediately surrounding Milwaukee county, and only for '96 and up vehicles. The reason for the split is that in '96, OBDII became mandatory for all vehicles, so they can test off of the car's computer itself, rather than putting the car on a dyno & doing the tailpipe readings. |
