Does anybody know the laws about taking NFA items (SBR and suppresor) into Minnesota?

Hmm.  MN has some different class 3 laws, and there's always the requirement to file a form w/BATFE to cross state lines with an SBR (not sure about suppressors).  Been a couple years since I checked into it, but it's not just "drive across the Mississippi and have fun".

MN is the WORST state for suppressors.  Not even SOTs or PDs are supposed to have them.

Silencers are exempt from the form, though as has been pointed out it's moot in this case b/c of MN laws regarding same.
