Is there anyone else besides me that thinks the class schedules are not what they expected when signing up for the WCCA alerts?

Completely agree.... WTF?

This is the first "alert" I have seen since June of 2009.   To the best of my knowledge Dick Baker has left the state along with leaving the WCCA.  He gave all of the keys to Bill Schmitz.  So far as I can tell, right now, there is no functional WCCA.  I am hoping to talk to him in person at the end of the month and help change that soon .

Dick Baker is not out of the state yet, but will be as soon as he gets his house on the market and it sells.

And yes, Dick and the rest of the WCCA board that nobody ever got to know handed the WCCA over to Bill two years ago.

Honestly though, since the '06 elections, there's been nothing for the WCCA to do. No bills, and our allies wouldn't even submit a bill for show purposes when we asked them to. The good news is that with Walker or Neumann in the Governorship in 2011, a shall-issue PPA will probably finally pass. There's enough pro-gun sentiment on both sides of the asile to pass it, unless there's dirty tricks by a Democrat majority leader.

There has been plenty going on in the past 4 years for an organized group to be a part of....

I'm sure there has, and there hopefully been groups taking advantage of that.

The WCCA was predicated on passing a shall-issue CCW bill, then defending/expanding it once it passed. No bill, nothing to do.  Should we have gone in-your-face hard-core like the VCDL? Probably. However, that didn't happen.

There was plenty of criticism of what the WCCA should do, should have done, however none of those people ever actually did anything either.

Russ Decker is the majority leader in the Senate. I don't expect any problems there if he remains in that capacity. I don't know about the Assembly.... but it seems the Assembly has always been our problem area.  We don't even know yet who will have the majority after the next election.
