I am looking into building my first AR-15 for my girlfriend. She's wanting a .223/5.56 M-4 style rifle with a flat-top reciever. I live in Appleton, and am wondering where I could get good parts in Wisconsin. If at all possible I would like to go with parts made in WI, even though I'm not sure how many are made here. I'm shooting for keeping the price under $800.
Thanks in advance for any reccomendations. |

bravo company is in hartland, wi. they sell great stuff. you can score a complete stag upper for $530. out of stock.
bravo co. pk firearms has many complete uppers. pk uppers surplus ammo has lowers w/ the part kit for $125. picking mine up tomorrow. lower w/ LPK magpul MBUS rear sight can be had just about anywhere for $55 now all you need is a stock kit! $80 from bravo co. total... $735. figure shipping and transfer will get you about $800. www.ar15review.com is also a good source for parts. seems we are in the same boat. the lower i'm picking up is for my wife's first build. good luck! ETA: fixin' my oopsies. |

You may be able to pick up an assemble Stag lower at the pawn/gun shop in Shawano... give it a try, you may be surprised and pick up an assembled gun for what you are looking at. Take the HWY 22 exit north and keep going it will be on your left, pass the Cty Gvmt/Police/Sheriff buildings, go over the bridge about 2-3 blocks. I have been in there several times and found the prices to be very reasonable.
Else, Fulton Armory has a good sale running right now. I know they are not WI parts, but you may find something to your liking. |

I'm building my new $600 AR tomorrow.(650 after adding my magpul rear buis) Parts are not from Wisconsin but still got a good deal. Complete Del-ton Rifle Kit - stripped lower for $505 after shipping and pre assembled upper. Building it on a Doublestar lower that I picked up on EE for $100.

My buddy is selling YHM lowers for $100. He also has DPMS parts kits($60), doublestar M4 stocks($65) which would be $225 unassembled.
He has a small internet business and lives West of Appleton. As for an upper, Bravo still has Daniel Defense M4 barrels on Closeout for $170: Linky That barrel doesn't have a front sight or flashhider so you'd have to come up with something. You can get gas blocks for about $25. Gas tubes are about $10. You can find BCAs and Upper receivers just about everywhere now. Take your pick of handguards. I have a YHM upper M4 REC w/RRA BCA , DD barrel (from above), Magpul black MOE handguard,YHM gas block/flipup sight, Phantom hider assembled setup that I was going to put out at the next gunshow in Oshkosh. It is all brand new stuff. Price would put you at exactly $800 with the lower mentioned above. $50 Less with a standard gas block or standard FS. Feel free to contact me if you like with ???. I get up to Appleton about every other week as well. Nick |

You can send John an Email at All Weapons One, [email protected]. They have serial number matched uppers and lowers with there logo on them and since they are a manufacturer the say Brule, WI USA on them.
