Spencer Coggs, WI State Senator is working on a bill which will make it illegal to investigate vote fraud in Wisconsin. The Democrats are outraged that anyone would question their illegal election tactics. There are third world countries that have cleaner elections that the US has now. |

The last comment is hillarious.....
Please provide a source for this accusation. He has been opposed to requiring ID to vote as am I . There was a 6 week investigation after the 2004 election with 361 accused voters of fraud. Only 3 were fraudulent. Voter fraud simply has not been an issue. There have been administrative issues with elections, but voter fraud has not been one of them. Doyle may be an idiot when it comes to some things, but his Election Reform Package proposal was not off the mark. |

Nah, what is truly hilarious is the hypocrisy of demanding references from someone and then immediately posting uncited facts yourself in the next sentence!!!! (I'm sorry, I tried to stay out of this thread but I just couldn't let this one go!) As for your "facts", I assume that they come from the highly biased and thoroughly discredited NYU Brennan Study that liberal bloggers keep quoting. Voter fraud simply has not been an issue.
The rules the Democrats put in over the years have made it nearly impossible to identify and prosecute electoral corruption, so it is now effectively impossible to prove the existence of election fraud in Wisconsin. Which, of course, is exactly what the Democrats intended! There have been administrative issues with elections, but voter fraud has not been one of them.
I have been an elections officer or an election observer in several Wisconsin elections and I have personally seen people use the present lack of an ID requirement to vote multiple times under different names. I have also seen polling place parking lots filled with many cars with license plates from Illinois. Due to the electoral regulations in place, however, there was almost nothing I or anyone else could do about it. Showing identification as is currently required to buy many products (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) or fly on a commercial aircraft is a very small price to pay to protect the integrity of our electoral process. Doyle may be an idiot when it comes to some things, but his Election Reform Package proposal was not off the mark.
The Democrat leadership knows that voter fraud is primarily conducted by their constituencies and that it works to the Democrats' advantage. Doyle's has consistently worked to institute the same kind of electoral corruption that has taken over Illinois. His supporters should be proud. I have no idea how Democrats can have so little shame to oppose voter ID requirements while still keeping a straight face. Since an ID is already required to drive, buy booze, or receive government benefits, they know that all of their legal voters already have ID. The only reason Democrats fight so hard to oppose voter ID requirements is to expand their vote totals to include people who vote for Democrats illegally. Since this state forum seems to be predominately inhabited by delusional liberals who foolishly believe that the Democrats they vote for won't take their AR-15's away, I have found that a meaningful debate is impossible here. Rather than waste my time attempting in vain to reason with such people, I'll merely point out the obvious and say that one of the greatest threats to our gun-rights is the corruption of our electoral process by the party that wishes to take those rights away. I'll now go back to trying to stay out of these political threads. |

The Onion There must be proof in order to prosecute someone for committing a crime. Where is your proof that voter fraud in WI is the colossal issue claimed by the OP? Quote a study.... any study...... Here is the MPD Report which shows great incompetence but not a huge fraud issue...... The rules the Democrats put in over the years have made it nearly impossible to identify and prosecute electoral corruption, so it is now effectively impossible to prove the existence of election fraud in Wisconsin. What rules specifically are you complaining about? I have been an elections officer or an election observer in several Wisconsin elections and I have personally seen people use the present lack of an ID requirement to vote multiple times under different names. I have also seen polling place parking lots filled with many cars with license plates from Illinois. Due to the electoral regulations in place, however, there was almost nothing I or anyone else could do about it. . You should turn yourself in for fraud if you allowed this to occur under your watch....... CHALLENGES TO QUALIFICATIONS
An inspector at a polling place who knows or suspects that an elector attempting to vote is unqualified must challenge that elector. If a person is challenged by an inspector, the person must take an oath swearing or affirming that he or she will truthfully answer questions put to him or her by the inspectors with respect to his or her place of residence and other qualifications. The challenged elector must be asked questions, which are specified in rules promulgated by the Elections Board, relating to the challenged elector’s qualifications. For example, if the elector’s citizenship is challenged, the elector is asked whether he or she is a citizen of the United States. Similarly, if the elector’s residence in the ward is questioned, the elector is asked a series of questions designed to aid in determining the elector’s residence. [s. 6.92, Stats.] The questions are specified in ch. ElBd 9, Wis. Adm. Code. Challenges to an elector’s qualifications may also be made by other electors who know or suspect that an elector is not qualified to vote. In such a case, both the challenging elector and the challenged elector are asked questions designed to elicit information about the qualifications of the challenged elector. [s. 6.925, Stats., and ch. ElBd 9, Wis. Adm. Code.] If the person who is challenged refuses to fully answer any relevant questions put to him or her by the inspectors, the inspectors must reject the elector’s vote. If the challenge is not withdrawn after the person has answered the questions, one of the inspectors must administer to the challenged person an oath or affirmation specified in the statutes attesting to the person’s qualifications. If the person who is challenged refuses to take the oath or affirmation, the person’s vote must be rejected. However, if the person challenged answers fully all of the relevant questions given by the inspector, takes the oath or affirmation and fulfills any necessary registration requirements, and the answers to the questions given by the person indicate that the person meets the voting qualification requirements, the person’s vote must be received. [s. 6.94, Stats.] Before depositing such a ballot, however, the inspectors must write on the back of the ballot the serial number of the challenged person corresponding to the number kept on the registration or poll list. If voting machines are used in the municipality, the person’s vote may only be received on an absentee ballot marked on the back with the elector’s corresponding registration or poll number. The inspectors must mark on the registration or poll list the reasons for the challenge to the elector. The challenged person’s vote must be counted and the challenge decided by local election officials. [s. 6.95, Stats.] Showing identification as is currently required to buy many products (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) or fly on a commercial aircraft is a very small price to pay to protect the integrity of our electoral process

What corruption specifically has he worked to "institute"?? |
