Hi again photoman.

The statute is 941.237
(2) Whoever intentionally goes armed with a handgun on any
premises for which a Class “B” or “Class B” license or permit has
been issued under ch. 125 is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.

http://www.legis.state.wi.us/statutes/Stat0941.pdf
Class B:
"Allows the licensee to sell, or offer for sale, barter or give
away fermented malt beverages to be consumed on the
licensed premises. (This license may be applied for in
conjunction with the “Class C” Wine License, but separate
applications must be filed.)"

It's not for two months, but the Great Circus Parade is coming to town in mid July.  All public streets and a long route, so you should be able to find a spot that is not in a school zone.

Summerfest: Whole grounds is licensed to allow people to consume alcohol.

Flynn's house: Where does he live?  I'd be happy to go there with signs.

Beach/park:  Yes, the state statutes pre-empt ordinances, but I'm not going to court over this yet.  I spoke with a Sherrif recently, they're being told specifically to enforce that ordinance.  If you care to fight that in court, I'll support you any way I can.

Hey photoman - I'm not sure where you're going with this...how did grocery stores get into the picture?

eleuthera: "Can't OC anywere that has a license for alcohol to be consumed on the premises."
Photoman: "yes you can if they don't get more then 50% of their money from the sale of alcohol. re-read the statutes."
eleuthera: *provides statutes proving eleuthera right*
photoman:  grocery stores don't count in that law.
eleuthera: ....point?

"mostly bars?"  no.

class B is any establishment that is allowed to serve alcohol for consumption on the premises.  No guns are allowed there.  That's all I said.  Game over.
