I read some of the legal faq but I'm not certain of one aspect.

Can you OC in buildings where alcohol is sold but not consumed, IE Walmart or a liquor store.

It seems other states have the no carrying where alcohol is consumed, but I read stories of guys experieces (in other states) OC in walmarts and whatnot.

Thanks for any clarification.

Oh, as an aside, some talking head on the radio said we can not carry in walmart because they sell liquor.

I don't have any laws to quote, but I can honestly say I've never heard of not being able to carry in a Walmart just because they sell alcohol. I think the only issue you might run into is management asking you to leave if you're upsetting the other shoppers. I'm not a lawyer so take all that with a grain of salt, however Walmart is one place I definitely plan on OC'ing.

Reading the statutes, they say "Whoever intentionally goes armed with a handgun on any premises for which a Class "B" or "Class B" license or permit has been issued under ch. 125 is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."

If I'm not mistaken, Class B permits or licenses permit the sale and consumption on the premise. I wouldn't expect a Walmart to have a Class B license, but rather a Class A license.
