a friend of mine has a lot of 7.62x39 ammo he would like to get rid of he has roughly 1000 rounds of wolf which i know isnt worth much but he has about 600 rounds of east german armor piercing ammo also. He wanted to know how much he could get for all of it so he can build an ar, any idea how much this stuff is worth?

I think he could get 250-275 for the wolf
I am not sure on the other stuff I would guess if its brass cased he could get 250-275 for that as well.

What time do you need the cash to pick that ammo up?

I didn't check gun broker before I posted that, I saw a guy in the EE selling 1,000 rounds of wolf for $275 so thats what I based that off of.

I bought 1000 rounds from the EE of Wolf black box for 300 shipped recently.  I wouldn't touch 7.62x39 for anywhere near 375-400 even in this climate. Reports from friends at a recent gun show said there were pallets of Wolf for 300 per 1000 rounds.

A place online has it where you can pre-order Silver Bear (better than Wolf) for 138 per 500 rounds with FREE shipping.

What did you think I was going to do with the $$ from the Saiga I'm selling you?  (I was going to pay bills...but if this guy wants to part with that ammo...)

 I hate bills.

damn, this thread makes me think I want to sell some of the Wolf ammo I have in the basement...  I still have cases that I paid $128 shipped for!!!  I know better than selling the stuff though, that is the problem...
