I have this ammo can with a couple cans in it and they are soaking in motor oil.

Need to clean them up, was wondering what would be good to use, don't want to hurt the cans.

If you can find some regular diesel fuel rather than the ULSD, it either leaves a light oil film on it or rinses clean with some hot water and a shot of air. Its been used to clean weapons and various other oily greasy parts for along time. As with anything of this nature make sure you wear some protect equipment.

I think the red dyed diesel "off road only" fuel is still Pre ULSD.
