Defensive Alternatives & Scenario Based Training

When:  January 31 - February 1, 2009

Where:  Madison, WI

Registration:  You can register through our website Here Individuals $250  Couples $400

This is a must attend course. Two fun filled and action packed days that will give everyone a full spectrum of all force options in great detail. All attendees will be receive extensive training on legalities, different force options other than firearms, and then will be put through multiple scenarios where they will be put into situations where use of force decisions will have to be made, applied and justified.

Some of the training will include:
Verbal Skills
Body Language
Empty Hand Techniques
Pressure Points
Common Self Defense Products (Chemical & Pepper Sprays, etc)
Impact tools
Improvised Tools
Knife

Day-1 starts out with some lecture. From there it moves right into all hands on training in a full spectrum of defensive tools. The improvised weapons is a must for anyone who travels to places where they might not have access to their normal carry firearm. On day-2 of the course we will be doing some scenario based training where students will be tasked to deal with a bad guy or guys, and have to make force option decision, apply them, then justify their perceptions and actions. The scenario based training session will allow all students to apply the different force options, and there will be some simunition work involved as well. The justification stage is to help attendees prepare for the aftermath of legal issues and justify their actions. Students just need to show up, no use of force weapons are needed, as we will provide all the force options and tools. If students have a fighting knife of some sort, a good folder would suffice, then please bring it for the knife session, if you do not have one we will provide one.

For those attending, bring you concealment holster with cover garment, your fighting knife, and anything else that you might carry or have at your disposal for defensive purposes.  For those wishing to experience defensive sprays, please bring a spare shirt or change of clothes.

would love to make this or any class, but the cost is prohibitive, as stated in another forum. My wife is unemployed, and we're saving every penny, as we believe this economy is going to get far worse before it gets better.

have fun
