Hey guys, I live just over the border in IL. Been asking locally for a good rifle range that's not too far away. I was told about the Racine County Line Rifle Club. I did a Google search and could not find any website for the club. I did find an IDPA site in Racine that had some info on the range. I figured here would be probably be my best bet. Do I need a sponsor to join? If I do, does anybody know a member? How much are the dues? Is any work hours needs? I was a member of WSA range on HWY 11 but their hours don't work for me. Plus they only have a 100yd range and no .50. :( Thanks. Todd |
"The Club" is a bit internet publicity shy at the moment (hence the comment above). Hopefully someone will be along shortly to get you hooked up for a visit. |

You'll have to arrange a visit with a member, that way you can see the facilities, and can get more info on joining and requirements. I think it'd be easiest to say something like "can someone take me?" and work out a time. As far as WSA's crappy hours, I take it you weren't able to make it out to go shoot on the weekends? That might make things tricky too, as a lot of members only go out on the weekend. |

Hello, I to am interested in the previously mentioned publicity shy club. I have moved to the area, and being a bit shy, I don't like the "walking around with my fly open" feeling of ariving to a new range with my AR15. I was very close to attending a course when Jim Owens (hopefully those aren't bad words) was still at the range, but never did. Now that I live ~10 minutes away, a home for me and my rifle where I am not condemed to shoot alone at the end of the firing line would be plesent. Lately I have been just shooting handguns at Shooters Sports Center. Thanks, Greg |
A good way would be to work one of the events meet some members and maybe pick up a sponsor IM me if interested Mark |
