I've been kicking around the idea of carrying a Kimer Guardian Angel. I went on to
Kimbers web sight  ( http://www.life-act.com/guardianangel.php ) and go to the State Regs. tab it says WI is
"States or cities where pepper sprays are restricted or regulated "
Can anyone clear this up for me ?

It means they don't sell it here.

Check the legal FAQ thats tacked at the top of the page.

Pepper Spray & Stun Guns:
Pepper spray (oleoresin of capsicum or "O.C." spray) is legal in Wisconsin as long as it doesn't contain other active ingredients. "Mace" and "tear gas" are illegal.
Cite: Administrative Code Jus 14.03 implements State Statute 941.26(4).

they have them at sportsman's warehouse in new berlin...so, I don't know what the kimber rep was talking about(unless the one at sportsman's was a different model)(which I don't know if they make different models).  But I don't know how good it is, but it's only 400,000 scoville heat units.  That doesn't seem much.  Considering that Fox 5.3 is well, 5.3 million svu.  I'd just get the fox labs(but it has UV dye in it, which I believe is rumored to be illegal in WI cuz it isn't natural?)

The key is ACTIVE ingredients. The dye is not an active ingredient. IIRC the KGA has a dye in it as well and that may be why kimber is sketchy on selling it here.......

they were selling them at gander in kenosha. You can have one like OC spray but there are increased penalties if used in crime
