If on my own property, is it legal to shoot after it is legally dark? Since it gets dark at about five o'clock, I'm finding it difficult to make time to shoot.

You're Coyote hunting. Perfectly legal. Except during deer gun season (tHAT'S WHEN YOU LOSE ALL OF YOUR RIGHTS). The DNR rules! State/Federal laws do not apply.

Shooting at night is OK, but IMO it is a good idea to let your neighbors know what is going on.
