I drove by Badger Outdoors today and saw on there sign out front that they were under new management and that they now allow ar15's. Does anyone know anything more on this?

Yup, although Wally is still around to help out.

FYI, while you can shoot .223 in the range, it must be frangible ammo.  Still not bad, though...

So, same crappy store with un-realistic prices. The same crappy anti-ccw family running the business.

Wow! I must run right back there!! NOT! They can go blow goats. I hope they are reading this.

Yup. When I would drop off flyers for our CCW bill, they would throw them away right after I left.

One of the sons (I forget which) was working the counter many years ago when I went in to qualify for my FL non-resident permit. When I finished, he just said saracastically, "so, you gonna be packing now?"

I haven't set foot in that place in over three years, and I used to buy a lot of guns from them before they became a bunch of jerks.

Wasn't it uncle Mick who was in support of all FTF sales going thru FFL's? Scumbag.

dont forget their insanely high FFL transfer fee as well. if i recall correct it was 75$ last i asked them. i dont even bother calling them or going to their store for pricing my newest buys. too much of a hastle and bullshit to deal with.

Not likely; they are on the bus route that runs across the valley to the 'hood. Rumor has it they are the armorers to the gangsta types that aren't felons (yet!)

i would imagine the same few individuals keep buying. i haven't lived in Milwaukee for a few years. i did use the range  a few times when i lived in greenfield. i noticed a certain "gangsta" types always hanging around. i would check the prices but they always seemed out of touch.

I have bought all 4 of the guns I own there. I have never found a place that can beat their prices. (usp tactical, sig 229, s&w model 41 and the new rra ar15)I am only 28 so I get along with Adam fine. I only deal with Wally, Adam, or Mick as some of the other people that work there are less then friendly.

I have a RRA elite car a4 on order threw them at the moment. I got it for less then the Holiday special price so I can't complain, I did see a simmilar model on one of the gun sales pages like gunsamerica for $35 less then I got it for but with ffl transfer costs it would have been close enough. I would rather give my money to a local business anyways.

They have sighted in my guns for me and helped teach me to shoot pistol. They helped me make choices on upgrades and new purchases that I have been very happy with To me some human interaction is worth more then $25 bucks every other year, as thats about how often I buy a gun, and the most i could save, though its liekly less after shipping and ffl fees.

As far as range prices. It sucks but I was told there was some issue in Milwaukee county that forced them to raise prices. Could be BS but I heard that shooters shop was $15 same as Badgers pistol price. The rifle range was always more.

There are certaint unsavory types in the store quite often, but more often then not they get mocked and shooed out the door, its quite comical to witness in my opinion.

pistol or AR the range time should be the same, is at the other indoor ranges I've been too, of course the ARs had to have .22lr kits or be pistol cal.

If they are not legally prohibited from owning a firearm, it's their right to have one just as much as it is yours. Thats also why we should be allowed to CCW, cuz they are and they don't give a shit that it's illegal.

No arguing their right to own; that's why I said "yet!"

Last time I was in there this summer their prices were pretty good.  The younger guys seemed to be pretty well mannered but that old guy, not so much.  For that reason alone I'm not doing anymore business there.

Also, at last check their transfer fee was $50
