Unpublished letter to M/JS. "Governor Doyle... you single handedly have made Wisconsin into a national “Ship-of-Fools” with your ignorant policies on taxing and concealed carry of handguns. A “tax hell” is the best description that could be used for this once fine State...or perhaps the “Gambling Capitol of the mid-west” would be more appropriate. Retired, my wife and I are paying an additional $10,000 a year in WI property taxes and fees than we would pay in the retirement states in the Southeast. If it were practical we would be out of here a.s.a.p. Our Governor’s stupidity of the statistics of concealed carry states that allow law abiding citizens their 2nd amendment rights and the legal means to defend themselves, and makes us one of the few states without CCW.. Governor, how many states have recinded their CCW laws AFTER seeing the results? It will be interesting to hear the comments about WI laws from our brave vets returning from Iraq where carrying of full auto rifles and open carry of sidearms is a part of everyday life when they hear they can’t be trusted carrying a pistol in their home state". |

All my war buddies have 1911's under the seats of their cars. Take a gun away from an infantry vet? Infantry vets don't feel safe without them anymore. In my easy light duty days in Iraq, when I was tired from the harry shit, I had to worry about Iraqi cops slitting my throat if I fell asleep. These guys just don't get it. Once you realize how evil people are, there is no comming back to naievete. |
It completely is. To need and not have... well that's just the last mistake a lot of people ever make. Thankfully, more liberals make that one than conservatives...
