I'd go with a Bobcat, or a Vector.  Prices are in the $1400 neighborhood, but check out the EE or for sale area on HKPro.  If you more detailed questions, I'll answer what I can.

So did you get the patches or not? If so did you pay for them? those are some strong accusations laid out by PFC_krammer, not something that should be thrown around lightly....hopefully you guys can get this resolved. I'm sure im not the only one that is intrested in the answer.

More or less, Justin and myself fronted money for stuff he comitted to pay for and then never paid.  Mostly just rude.

Chasing off a 'fellow' WI member is never a good thing.  I suggest you guys work this out behind the scenes.

If this patch thing is such an issue, why is only being brought up here, in a NON RELATED discussion.  You guys need to start your own thread, this one is for the purpose of an MP5 clone.

Anyhow, back on topic, if you have any questions on the clones, feel free to ask.  THe BW have been known to have issues running, but a $5 spring will take care of that.  NOt sure why they just didn't put the spring in at the factory.

My bobcat is a recent one (end of summer).   I thought that spring issue was fixed by then.  Mine has had no problem eating WB or wolf.

Can you beleive my wife is an english major, well i want an sbr so would it work to cut and thread the rifle clone or get a pistol and covert to sbr. and is it easy to covert a pistol or just take the cap off and put a stockon it . i want a mp5 or hk 94 i should say, so bad but can't afford it.

That's a good question I would like to know as well.  My Krinks have cans that come off after grinding a blind pin underneath.  Not sure about these bobcats, but I would like to know since I'm changing all my eligible weapoms over to SBR's in the next month ...when the stamps come back.

easier to convert rifle to sbr..just requires a barrel to be shortened...vice trying to find a new barrel all together.

The bobcat has a 'Billet machined, 8.875 inch, stainless steel, 3 lug barrel is rifled with a 1:10 twist rate and has a fluted chamber.'

Answer from their site.

It'll be easier to put a stock on a pistol, BUT, don't pay a premium for a BW5/Vector94 pistol over the fake can rifle.  To pop off that fake can, you can grind off the cover weld revealing the pin, then drill it out.

$1400 for the base Bobcatw/ fixed stock. The Collapsible stock was another $425.. Atlantic Firearms(blaine).  I've been shopping for the front FH for when this gets its SBR stamp - They run 60-75 ouch!  Hk shit is horribly priced.  This will be my 1 and only for that platform
