I have always loved living in Wisconsin. For many reasons. It has always been my home. My family is mostly here, and so are my friends. I think this is actually one of the few times I actually thought about leaving Wisconsin behind. I am so wound up right now about the implosion that took place yesterday that I can barely type this. Certainly the stress level is doing me no good. I am just completely stupefied at the total stupidity of the people of the state of Wisconsin. How can anyone in their right mind vote for Doyle? I do know why. Mainly single issue voters like my own sister.(not my donor, thankfully) She voted for Doyle simply on the abortion issue. It is also the the outright lies that Doyle tells to smooth the waters pre-election. I know the sheep's clothing will come off, and I hope he stabs everyone of his supporters right in the back, like I know he will. As for the death penalty question. A resounding YES was cast. Doyle has vowed to veto any death penalty legislation. Way to support what the people want. The people have spoken, but who gives a crap about what the people want? Right Comrade Doyle? CCW, call me Mr. Pessimistic but you can forget about that for another 4 years. We all know no matter how hard we try, ccw will not pass as long as Doyle is in office. I hope I am wrong, but right now in my fit of rage and dispare, I think I am right. On a national level we got screwed as well. Dems running as moderates just so they can get elected. What a bunch of BS. I'm not stupid, once in office it's right back to the liberal left. I honestly feel bad for the people who were duped into voting for these people. These voters eyes will be opened soon enough, and I hope they feel like crap for voting like they did. Prepare yourselves for another AW ban of some sort. Once again this time around I am in such a bad position to try and purchase anything now that might get banned in the near future. So I am essentially SOL for another 10-12years or maybe permanently. I am sure prices have already gone up on many items. Sorry if this is such a downer, but I am just a bit bent about this whole thing. I have never been in so much fear in regards to loosing more of my rights and freedoms as a gun owner. /end rant |
Don't let em get to you. Disappointed? Yes. Pissed? Nah... that's what they want. Don't get even; get up one. So, when's the ARFCOM open carry event going to happen? We sure as shit ain't getting CCW, so sound like it's time for more open carrying. Someday i'd like to return to wisconsin for good. But it's tempting to get a place in the middle of nodak, and never have to deal with people. lol.... |
No kidding. Damn. I would hope that the LEO's in WI wouldn't support or enforce something so blatantly unconstitutional. |
My sentiment exactly. I'll be here for one more gubenetorial election. If that goes as I expect it will, and once I finish up college, I'm leaving the state. Too many idiot old people, idiot farmers with their entitlement complexes, idiot college students, idiot indians(yeah, I just said that; Menominee county, which is 100% indian reservation, went ~83% for Doyle), and don't forget the communist capitol of Madison. This state sucks, and I've lived my entire 17 years here. Time for everyone to leave this hell hole; Wisconsin is lost. |
And a national one as well. The only thing standing in the way of a state AWB is the Republican assembly; the state senate is now Democrat controlled. The only thing in the way of a national is the small chance that we hold on to the Senate. My only hope is the Dems on a national and state level mess up so badly within the next 2 or 4 years, that we can actually take back what we lost. That is all dependant on if the Dems don't literally destroy the country within that time period. Our only hope for governor in 2010 is Tommy Thompson(who would win handily, if he ran, which is the biggest problem), or maybe JB Van Hollen(who looks like he'll win as AG, with 99.86% reporting). |
No, with handjobs you at least get some satisfaction. With Doyle you get none.
Yup, placing some calls tonight to order some goodies now while I can. |

It makes me sick too. I hate to say it but: we got played by the Dems/Doyle. And well played. Looking back with hindsight, I'd say we lost this election back when Walker pulled out before the primary. It went like this: On the Repub side we had: Walker: Good name recognition in the heavily populated SE WI area. No close ties to Bush. But less money. And Green: Not well known outside the GB area. Had voted mostly along party lines which allowed the Dems to tie him to everything that is unpopular about Bush. But he had a lot more money thanks to being able to transfer $ from his Federal campaign fund to his State fund. So, before the primaries, Walker steps aside to allow Green to focus his time and money against Doyle. After all, money wins elections and Green had the $$. Sounded like a good idea at the time - but Doyle and the Dems were privately laughing because the Repubs had just walked into a trap. They had an ace hidden away. They didn't play it right away, they waited. They waited till it was too late for Walker to possibly back into the race. Then, out came the ace: The elections board suddenly reversed all precedent and ruled that Green had to give back that extra $$ from his Fed campaign. And that was that. Dirty Underhanded But well played. Bastards. I'm not sure if we'd have won or lost with Walker, but I'm damn sure it would've been a lot closer. |

Welp moving back to az looking better every day. I hate to piss some of you all off but we have to thank the GW for the massive influx or gun hating dems into office. Green might have taken it if everyone wasnt so anti republican due to GW Anyway yes maybe it is time to start standing up to our right to bear arms even if it is visible. I mean we all complain about not getting the right to conceal but we have the right to open carry yet we dont do it or stand up for that right. Yes i know we will get harrassed and maybe even cited for disturbing the peace but that isnt right and it surely isnt the LAW PS oh ya and ill be ordering more hi-cap mags and carbines/parts/accessories in the immediate future |
