A friend of mine got his RRA from Fletchers in waukesha.  It took a couple weeks and I think he paid about the same as I did for my Bushmaster M4A3.

Check out Badger Guns and Ammo for the transfer. I think they do them. The fee is usually 15 to thirty dollars. I usually have Midwest Shooters do transfers for me. They are about half way between milwaukee and fond du lac on highway 41. They only charge 15 for a transfer.

badger now charges 50 or 100$
or atleast they wanted that from me when i called and asked how much a FFL charge would be.
i just hung up after hearing that. it should be no more than 20-25$ for a FFL transfer
i would try a private ffl not a gun store one, they are much more reasonable and do not try and guilt trip you about not buying from them

I would suggest building one up, not buying a complete one. You can save yourself money and building a better weapon.

Hell some places will charge you thier mark up if it's something that they can get. Though I really can't blame then for that.

Not to muddy the waters but there is a Fun Show this weekend in Waukesha. You might run into a good deal there.

I don't get a comission but if you go, Boom to Zoom should be able to cut you a better deal than a store. Hell... why don't you really get the bug and buy the components at the show and build your own. More expensive? Probably but you'll get the money back in satisfaction :)

Boom to Zoom has decent prices on RRA uppers, get an upper from them and a lower from someone at the show... Boom to Zoom is kind of high on lowers.

Your best bet for a complete rifle is here on ARFCOM. - I recommend building one.. it's extremely easy. It's better for you in the long run because you get it cheaper, you get the parts you want, and you'll know your weapon better.
