If it really works as they say it does, then I think it'd be cool. I might get one if someone else has one that I can try. .22 is cheap to shoot, and this is fun! Well, I disagree, I also have shot them. The predator was much louder than the Advanced Armament and SWR suppressors. SWR and AA are made better in my opinion. I tested all three cans using remington subsonic, and regular federal, the predator was quite louder using the regular ammunition. The first round pop was considerably louder. |
Different ears so I'm sure they sound different to both of us. i've shot it next to the AAC, SWR and a tac-65 and one other can who I don't know who made it. Also try a better subsonic then the remington stuff, it's inconsistant as hell. I used aguila subsonics, very, very consistant stuff. |
I got to hook up with KaBoom and drop in my Johns Guns suppressed 10/22/and see how it works with it and the mags I have In the video it looks like a B.C. mag? anyone know what type the mag is for sure. I agree that it is allot of $ but if it works as claimed and they offer a 30 day trial I will get one for sure. A $1000.00 stock that makes your own 10/22 rock n roll cant be beat when you look at a Norrel or a American 180. Mark have you had a close look at the stock? can it be reproduced? ( Not that I would do) just wondering about that. |
Yah I took a decent look at it and it could probably be reproduced no problems, I do want to get a better look at it though so I hope kaboom brings it out on the 9th. |

Did you watch the video? I have never seen anyone bump fire from the shoulder When I see how kabooms works if it like the video hell ya I will get one. I see the writing on the wall with BAT&E already. Some how they will make it a c3 and offer a amnistie Im thinking a D.D. or A.O.W. most likely you will have to pay for the tax stamp but you will not need a L.E.sign off. And it will go the way of the Striker & the street sweeper. |
I have seen the video, and I have seen guys bump from the shoulder. I also see the writing on the wall concerning this stock, the only difference is that I see the BATFE being just as likely to confiscate this device as they are to offer amnesty on it. I hope that if you buy one that they offer a chance to register it and not just come knocking on your door with their hands out demanding you turn it over. I guess I just don't get as aroused as some guys do over full auto and supressed. It is cool and all, but I am WAY too cheap to have either. |
I'm with you on that one... for that money I could get a lot of 5.56MM and a class or two. With the cost of Ammo the way it is... I just can't see wasting it on just pumpin rds down range for the noise and "Fun" Guess I just don't make enough money.......To each there own.. |
Should have come out to the range yesterday and watched PX bumpfire the SBR with the can on it from the shoulder(still don't get how he can do that) |
