| Been a rash of vicious muggings around the downtown area. |
|
One of my buddies from High School got beat up a month or so ago. There were 6 of them and when they were leaving he got up and called out 'betcha feel all tough now, cause it took 6 of you to kick my ass.' Needless to say they stomped on him again. . . I'd say CCW and to hell with the concequences. I'd rather go before a judge then to the hospital, or worse. |
Nooo, we just put up a brand new big expensive boys and girls club in Fitchburg. Also, right next door is going to be one of the nicest play grounds in town. No worries now, Fitchburg will be full of outstanding citizens soon!! ![]() There may be some sarcasm in the above post |
My Sister-in-Law is a LEO in Fitchburg. She says it's starting to get interesting around there. Seems a lot of drug dealings going on, which in turn brings the gangs and crime. -JTP |
Cockroaches..... Yeah did a google and found this, sad cuz these guys scare the bloods and crips.. Madison MS13 |

This guy needs to be stopped, but since Doyle, who lives in madison - don't want us to be able to defend ourselves from violent criminals, the only thing we can do is either give him what he wants or Someone I hope will screw a can on a .22 ruger and silence this violent mugger once and for all. End of Story |
Did she say it was pretty much the north end of town, or all of Fitchburg? |

I live downtown, about a two blocks from the capitol, but on the other side from campus. I can tell you that there is a problem with down town crime, our weak lib mayor is not going to do anything about it and Doyle will not allow us CCW, so what are our options. I recently bought my fiance a can of Pepper Spray, but unfortunitly, I cannot legaly carry my Glock23. I try and not go out past midnight, and not walk alone, other than that not much else I can do until the mugger trys to break in to my place. |

I've been doing some campaigning recently with the local Mark Green campaign office. Hopefully we can get Doyle out this November, and get a governor that will sign the PPA. Looked at a poll recently, basically a dead heat, 43% Doyle, 42% Green. Green is definitely behind the PPA- “Forty-six states trust their citizens with the right to carry a firearm to protect themselves and the people they love from harm,” Green said in a release. “Clearly, Jim Doyle doesn’t believe law-abiding Wisconsinites can handle this responsibility. I couldn’t disagree more.” |

We were celebrating my friends 21st at Wando's downtown and while staggering back to our place (there was four of us), three lovely young gents politely asked us for our money and my friends digital camera. We ended up just ignoring them, or trying to...it didn't really escalate too much once they realized they were outnumbered, but it would have been a little sticky if any of us was alone. Seemed to me like over the last year violent confrontations in general were on the rise in Mad town. Even little shit at house parties got rediculously out of hand... |
