[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SBS IN WI?

Just picked up a used 870, and I'm thinking I want to SBS it. How does this work? Submit paperwork to ATF, pay tax, blah blah, and then once I get the approval and the paperwork back, I can cut the barrel down?

Yep, just like an SBR. Form 1 with CLEO signature, pics, prints(all x 2) and a citizenship form + $200 to BATFE and once you receive approved back......grab the hacksaw

Cool....thanks! 'Nother question. I ordered the Form 1, Certification of safe storage (don't know if this applies or not), and NFA fingerprint cards from ATF online. Where do I get this citizenship thing?

Kill everything you need paperwork wise can be gotten from titleii.com makes everything nice and easy. Be sure to print the form one on the front and back of one sheet. You'll need to do two of them.

+1 on Photoman's suggestions on forms at above link. You can fill them in online and then print. As he mentioned, they will not be accepted unless front and back are on same paper. You can even click "highlight" to make sure you don't miss a box! Again, duplicate on everything except the citizenship form. BTW, you actually certify yourself on that form........dumb, huh!!
