I'll be driving my sweetheart from Jefferson county out to Mitchell Saturday morning as she's going on a business trip to Orlando so I won't make it. hinking.gif Hold on.... wait a minute..... State Fair Park is on the way back isn't it? errr .... the usual place ...... on 84th. It's a few blocks south of the park grounds on the east side of the street. I wanna say "Johnny V's" or something like that. We just have to cut FMD off from the coffee after six pots. Either that or let's just get him an insulated camel-back and get the fuck out of the way. |

hehe... setback. Her flight leaves at 6AM so I have tons of time throw back a few gallons of coffee before the doors open at 9. I'll now be the 6-7" guy with eyes the size of saucers. I've decided on putting a bench AR together while she's gone. I think there's another show this year out at Jefferson County FG. Anyone have any details because there sure isn't anything on their website. |
0800 is good for me. The shows seem to peak befrore noon. If there's a deal to be had it'll walk through the door between 9 and 11. Plus, I'm probably going to carry something to sell, so I want to catch whatever 'rush' there might be. FMD & Annie-O? PM? Drawcut & Dianne? Who's coming? Flame Thrower, Can you and Melissa make it? Isn't Tattoo hiding out somewhere in SEWI? Is AR-Chick still in the picture? I'm sure his bro-in-law could go for some gun nut comradery. Anyone know if Ed Paulsen, or Bravo Company is going to be set up there? I need an LPK and I'd prefer to buy it from the locals if they're reasonably competitive. |
Forgive me for my retardedness, but this is the State Fair gun show right? When are we trying to meet? Food when?? I probably can go, will bring my nephew, maybe Melissa. We are going to be in town later for a movie anyway. Need to rob a bank first. Glad you're going to make it, and by all means invite PC. (Just as long as he covers up his PC.) Did anything ever develop of your idea to host shoots? --------- I don't have Tattoo's number of his sister's house anymore. Somebody call over there, and see if Tattoo or his bro-in-law wanna go with us. |
Not really as of yet. I got a bit lazy at home when work started to pick up the pace. It is sort of a continuing endeavor to build up my range anyhow. So who's name is the reservation going to be under? Or are we just mobbing the place?? |
I wanna say 17:00 - 21:00. Going on Fri has never done anything for me. If you've got something to sell, you'll be mobbed with vendors looking to lowball you for profit. If you want to purchase, they've got no inentive to negotiate with the whole weekend in front of them. Good luck and report back with recon. |

I think it gives you something to do. Plus, it detaches you from the coffee cup for a few minutes at a time, when you go outside.

LOVE YOU  me and tiny will be there as soon as i figger out what time,day and place my brain hurts to much to read the posts rite now..today i worked 10.5 hours...thats about the shortest day iv had in 3 weeks other then the 1 day i took off

And the pepper spray, too! <clears throat> I think we've got more smokers than non now. Somebody gonna call ahead to Johnny V's and make a reservation in smoking for 10-12? ETA: FT, just look for the hats/shirts from Arfcom sponsors (Defensive Edge, BravoCo. etc.).

| Whew, change of plans.... I snuck in last minute vacation day. These shows are important to me! My kid has karate till 11am. So , I should be up there by noon.So, will anyone be wearing anything that advertises this site?I'm not sure if I should give myself away by what type of hat I will have on.But would love to meet some of you. Im coming from Ktown. |

The Brotherhood of the AR is crumbling..... I discover at the last minute that although my wife is going out of town 6AM Saturday morning, my in-laws decided to come up for the day. What kind of crap is that! Anyway, I feel like Micheal Keating in Multipicity and I'm gonna clone off a copy of myself. He gets the in-laws and I'll go to the show. Anyway, I digress. I need to hit the show at 9AM with my PickNSave shopping cart and roller skates, buy what I need and skedaddle home before they get here. That gives me an hour at the show to do what I need to. I'll still try to make the breakfast but I'll be at the front door when they open. When you see the big guy barreling down the aisles just stand aside, it's not his fault. |
