I've got an OOW reciver and a AMD parts kit (the 16 inch barrel and regular buttstock). Was going to make a screw build, but I found out I have the mechanical know-how of a dead lemeur. I think I should let someone who's used power tools at least once take a crack at it.  Any suggestions? Av. |

My review from when I first received the AK. It's a double-hook trigger with modifications to fit the OOW receiver. I don't remember whether the receiver or the trigger components were modified. That trigger was the best part of the rifle--a great execution of a rifle design that I just don't care for. |

The FALfiles are great!I don't get there much unless I'm sent there or looking for something,I haven't had the money to play FAL lately. Not to hijack the original AK inent of this thread, but if you guys need FALS built. Do I have a guy that is fantastic down in South Florida. $75 builds (Finish - You're on your own - Or you could bring a 12 pack and some gun kote over by me and we'll work something out. ) I've used him for 3 builds for me and 1 for a friend. He has a great Rep over on FAL Files. I also have than Gun plumbers video - Great information for take down, minor repairs, but I'll leave the crowing, timing, etc to the pros.. I value my face...

I think it was an RSA trigger. I still have all the records somewhere. Build price, including repark, all mods, return shipping was around $200. There are probably people who are cheaper, but no one I know who's better. He also built 2 FAL's for me. I sold the G1 build, but still have my first Imbel, which was shortened and had the original flash hider installed after the AWB expired. I'd be very interested in the video on the AR-15 rebarrel. IM on the way. |
