I am in the market for a new gun safe. I remember seeing a thread about someone buying a Liberty safe somewhere. I cannot do a search that yealds any results.

I have a safe now that a friend wants to buy from me. I can use that money towards a new safe. Quite honestly I am out of space in my safe as it is and could use a larger one. I have to find out what I paid for the one I have so I can give him a fair price. Do safes really have any depreciation?
What do you guys reccomend for a new safe?

Don't they have a web site? Do they deliver it inside your house, where you want it?

If you want something more high-end, get a National Security safe.  They're Liberty's top-of-the-line models.  The difference is like night and day with steel thickness, fire protection, etc.  Just opening and closing the safe door between the two brands will sell you.  The National Security is more overkill, but a couple guns stolen can equal as much as the safe.  Plus if you keep items that you can't replace in there (paperwork, family photos, etc.), its nice to have the extra fire protection.  If you go to your local dealer they usually have models with blemishes or scratches at a cheaper price.  They also discount last year's models as well to make room for new stuff.
