What's your favorite resturants? I like Famous Dave's. |
|
A few good places in Milwaukee are: Mexican: Conahetos (I know its spelt horriably wong) There on like 6th and Virginia Pizza: Capri, They are on 84th and Beloit. 2 people can get a large pizza, garlic bread and soda out the door for $20 with tip and have some left overs. Burgers: Kopps Custard. Nothing beats one of there jumbo burgers Chinese: Fortuine Chinese, Hwy 100 and Grange. There orange chicken is awesome. Easily feeds 2 people with one order. Oakland Gyros has some great food, good gyros. George Webbs has good food, they are a little over priced for what they are but coffee is only $1.25. I seem to spend alot of time at Webbs. |
Absolutely! The best steak&bean tacos I've ever had that were served on a paper plate.
Their grilled cheese is excellent also.
Haven't been there in a while but they were always a favorite.
One of the few places with "real" blueberry pancakes. Not the pie filling kind. Erik, I get this strange feeling we probably own some of the same firearms also, like maybe an AR-15 or two? --John |

John- Nope no AR's yet. I am working on building my first AK, I hope to have it done before the weekend. An AR is definatly in my future, I just dont know what I want in one yet. The webbs I go to they made me a snowman pancake for Christmas, just like mom used to :) |
theres a place next to el rays's down on i think 16th? they have some good bar time food btw try to make the FNS and bring the ak on out to play |

Famous Daves for ribs, but only on occasion because mine are better at home. Culvers is ok but the Chocolate Eclair ice cream is what draws me there. Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano puts Olive Garden to shame. I wont even step foot in an Olive Garden anymore. And ill drive to Reedsburg from Baraboo for Chinese as long as its The Golden Buffet, otherwise i frequent the chinese buffet in town. I think thats about it,..the rest i try to avoid,..Especially Pizza Hut. |

For breakfast (try the hunters hash or swedish hash): Chutes' Family Restaurant in Naples, ME For Mexican: Danny's in Laredo, TX For chicken breast dish (Cactus chicken): Wagon Master in Leesville, LA OK, so they are not in WI, but if you ever get near one of these places, these are some fantastic restaurants. |
|
Personally I like unique restaurants the best, the service is usually good and the food is spectacular. My favorite two like this are 1st) The White Stag in Sugar Camp (?), and 2nd) The Bear Trap Inn near the border with the UP. Chain restaurants that I like include Olive Garden and Red Lobster. That's my two and a half cents. |
|
I too like the more unique places. In Stevens Point, ya gotta try Water Street Grill or Silver Coach. In Lake Delton, Moose Jaw or Rivers Edge. How coincidental they all serve great ribs... For something different, I go to Hereford and Hopps in Wausau. Good steaks and delicious beers. Mmmmmmmmm steaks and beer.. |

Wow no one mentioned Bucas in Milwaukee, 1233 North Van Buren Street, I love that joint all the pics on the walls and stuff. They serve family style, so when oyu order something it feeds a minimum of like 4 people if not more. Great place. Kewpees in Racine is one of my faorite burger joints. i don't get there much but when you get the craving for a kewpee burger, yer on a mission like Harold and Kumar

Silver Coach is great, esp. if you like it spicy. Jim loves cooking with 'da peppers. Also in Point, Hill Top isn't bad for a good bar burger. And ther is a pretty good new Mexican place on 10E next to Slumberland. |

NOT!!
