There's a guy selling Orange AR-15 magazine anti tilt followers for $30 for 100.  I don't need 100, I only want 10.  So I figured I'd see if anybody was interested in getting some of them, kind of a mini group buy.

Forgive me for the dumb question:

Are these any better than the green followers?

Never heard of Orange myself: just green for USGIs and black for the steel British mags.

I have seen the orange referred to as SWAT type.  I have some that came with my latest mag. purchase.  If there is a difference between the orange and the green, I can not tell.  Aside from color.

In that case, I guess I gotta pass on the deal MP.  All of our AR mags have the green followers.

orange are identical to the green GI Anti tilt. I bought a bunch earlier this year from a guy on the EE and I ordered 20 green followers to update my mags and he threw in an orange one for free (kinda cool of him). just a different color in the molding process is all. I'm a traditionalist and stuck with green.

I bought some of the orange followers a year or two ago off of the EE.  I put them in my range mags as an easy identifier (I didn't want to mark the ouside of the mags).  Obviously this won't work if ten guys who use the same range all have them!  Other than that, they work just like the green followers and are novelty.

i think they'd be great for an unloaded weapon indicator.  i'd buy some but i've already got green ones in most of my mags.  plus i'm buying new mags now for $11/ea that have green followers too.

Ok.  I still went and ordered them anyways.  They come in handy when you check for low ammo in a mag.  If anyone changes their mind, I'll have plenty.

i'll probably be down for a few (5-10 of them).  just post another reply here when you get them.

I'd be down for some too, don't know exactly how many though, gotta check and see how many mags I got that don't have green followers.

How much for 20? With shipping of course. Thanks.

Well 20 would be $6, and since followers are pretty light, I'm going to have to think shipping wouldn't be more than $4-5, so I'd have to guess $10 shipped.  But, don't qoute me on that, I'd have to go down to the PO to find out after I get them.  May be more, may be less.

Mister PX,
I'll be good for 20 if I made it in on time.I think I'll put orange followers in my next batch of new mags just so I can tell them apart from my older springs.

Got them today.  They're not quite the blaze orange I was hoping for, but they'll still do nicely.

Mark, I'm goping to be up at Stan's next weekend, so I won't make to RCLRC.  If you let me know when you're working, I can drop some off to you, with your thrower.

I'll be off of work this Wed and thursday. I thought I had the 8th 9th off but it's the 7th and 8th.  I'm heading up to Kabooms tomarrow to switch out an A1 for a A3(flattop) upper and putting a YHM lightweight railed forearm. So I'll probably be shooting on wed or thursday, depending on when my red dot and the mounts show up. Let me know if you could make it either of those days, otherwise we can meet up real quick one of those days.
