| Hey all, got a question concerning my little lady. She turns 21 soon and is interested in getting her concealed carry permit. She is not a Colorado resident; she is from Washington State and goes to school here. According to usacarry dot com, Colorado does not honor Washington carry permits... so how do we go about getting her a permit to carry here? Anyone happen to know something I don't? |

Utah permit class. Sorry Jim, but Colorado only honors the permit if you're a resident of that state in question. Another gift from Ritter. For the OP, her best option is to become a resident (a simple drivers license is enough to be considered a resident), then apply for a CO permit. |

That's right, had my mind on reciprocity for states CO CCW is not recognized in  . yes she needs to meet CO residency requirements.
