| Well here we go so I am on a budget these days and I wanted some work done on my 1911. Had some simple things to do such as install a beavertail, commander hammer, and a polish on the trigger and feedramps and throat. SO I took it over to the gunsmith school... was quoted a six to eight week lead time and would be called if the cost would go over $50. Cant wait! |

I took a pair of 1903 Colts to CST to have them blued after I did all the mechanical work and stoned out some minor pitting. Both of the frames and slides had been stoned back to crisp flats and hand polished to a 600 grit finish as the customer had requested. Not fun having to explain to a customer why the frames had the dustcovers spread, the lettering nearly washed out, every hole in the frame dished and the nice, crisp edges I stoned so carefully back into shape rolled because of a fucking retard student going hog wild with a buffing wheel. Good luck with that
Yup, that "bargain price" was quite a deal
