| So, there I was approaching a 4-way intersection and I had a green light. As my vehicle crossed the white stop line(light went from green to yellow), I think the red-light camera flashed. WTF? Will I get a ticket because I was basically rolling into the intersection as the light went from green to yellow. Is this some type of warning or malfunction? |

true state law sez they gotta hand you red light tickets in person.
the strobes are going off all the time in the intersections in Aurora and usually with no one in the intersection at all. I can get them to go off on my MC, if I use a minimum breaking distance from the stop line at an intersection of all the times they've gone off and I'm in the AO, they've never sent me tickets. I think it's preemptive photos... they think they'll get more hits, I think its a public nuisance and a distraction, it's all about the money. there is one intersection in denver, 1st and University (by the bed bath and beyond / whole foods @ cherry creek mall) I've seen 4 MC coppers, one at each corner, just waiting to bust someones ass. |
