Wife and I completed our move from wet side of Washington about a week ago, and are getting settled in. So far Colorado Springs area is great. We got a place on 35 acres out on the plains east of town. Right now its a nice green- much different than the brown we saw when we were looking at the place in April. Wish it could stay this way always. Shot at my first coyote this morning- missed. There's a number of them in the area–– the neighbors say they kill the pets so will be happy if I can get a couple. Its my first time trying for coyotes and I'm surprised how far they can see and how skittish they can be. I need to get sighted in at more than the 100 yds I had the rifle at in Washington.
Hope to meet a few of you guys in the area before too long.

Get your small game license in CO. Yotes are all year round but even on private property you still need a license.

Welcome to Colorado!

Keep yourself hydrated, take it easy until you've built up the extra hemoglobin in your blood to compensate for the altitude.

Give me a call or email if you need help, need AR tools or parkerizing gear, or just need a tour guide.   I',m medically retired, so I've got nothing but time!
