I have to give MGT an A++ for service. My wife and I were in there for well over an hour. The employees had no problem pulling pistol after pistol out of the display case and educating us on each one. No high pressure sales, no rushing to get to the next customer, no snide remarks, just great customer service. An ideal environment to keep customers coming back. The wife and I definitely will. She has her eye on a new S&W642.
So, I finally bit the bullet, with the wife's consent of course, and purchased a .22lr AAC Prodigy. Buy once and cry once I figure. Now I have to jump through the hoops to actually take it home. I live in Wheat Ridge so I was instructed to get my prints done at the WRPD, but where precisely to I deliver the forms to get the CLEO signature. Id like to avoid walking around the Taj Mahal asking staff who, what and where if possible? Thanks JT |

Any particular reason you chose to go CLEO over the trust route? |

I seriously thought about purchasing a centerfire, but I figured Id start with a.22lr can as I shoot it more than my other calibers. No particular reason. The subject of trust vs CLEO hadn't really been discussed at the store. But, as I reside in JeffCo I was told a signature shouldn't be too difficult. |

Guys thanks for the positive comments on the new store. As for the getting the paperwork done. Just call the Jeffco sheriff and ask for the individual that is in charge of the NFA or Form 4 transfers and they will take care of you. FYI no Spectres in stock. You can always check the website for which items are currently in stock. alan

I will swing in there when I am no longer window shopping, I do enough window shopping at the gun show and when I have the cash for a SWR trident and a .22 suppressor I will stop in. I just dont like to take up peoples time when not actually in the market ready to spend cash. |

There is a specific Sgt down there that the forms go to to have the background check done for Sherrif Minks signature. I can not remember the name but you can call the Sherrifs Dept and ask who to have the forms sent to when you take them down to the office. The place you will take them is the Entrance on the North West of the Jail complex up there next to the Taj. Entrance is actually on the west side but you get the general idea. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v651/PhotoTWB/AR-15%20website%20help%20images/Form4dropoff.jpg A picture is worth a thousand words. I'm going down there 1st thing Monday morning. Thanks

Thanks ![]() JT The will likely want to electronically finger print you there as well, for the background check. Did MGT give you the correct finger print cards to take to Wheat Ridge for the prints if not I believe you can order them off the BATF website somewhere. |
