Pinning a flash hider on is not that difficult to do yourself if you have access to a drill press and welder. There is a good write up in the build-it-yourself thread about 3/4 of the way down the first page.

It would be only $30 if you could get the muzzle device off before sending it out. http://adcofirearms.com/shopservices/shop_.cfm?code=25 Removing a permanently installed muzzle device is fairly easy if you are ok with destroying it during removal. I took a mini Y-comp muzzle brake off my Bushmaster barrel by dremelling around the pins, sawing the brake in two parts up to the muzzle crown, and then splitting the brake in half with a chisel. |
