So it looks like the Brighton Appleseed on April 17-18 is already full.

I'm thinking about registering for the Fountain one on the same weekend.

Anybody else want to do this this year?

Just reading a post about it and was surprised to see they dont allow people to either carry pistols openly or concealed. Thought that at least concealed would be fine. Im not trying to be critical but im curious as to why this would be their policy.

No CCW? I'm sorry, but this is the same sort of 'omg they have a loaded gun' square range mentality that the NRA enforces that I despise.

Gun safety really has two ninja secrets, muzzle and trigger. Once you inform people of these two rules, or splurge and use gosh, all four, then you treat them like responsible humans. If they violate a rule, send them home.

Its very simple really. The whole 'no CCW' rule is just dumb.

Concealed is concealed. If you can do prone, standing and sitting without printing, then who is to know?

many ranges don't allow it.
You all have seen it

It's not an unreasonable rule.

Exactly how unsafe do you feel surrounded by people (and yourself) holding center-fire rifles?

non-issue.
