Anyone heading up to Denver for the Tanner gunshow this weekend?
-Looking for a ASP sling attachment and a BAD lever. Hint, hint, MGTs |
|
Looks like Saturday morning for me. Will be heading up north afterwards to see the Niece finish up her last soccer game of the season.
Placed a bid on a Semi-auto .22, depending on if I win on not will tell if I have any money for the show (beyond the entry fee ).

Pretty much stocked up on Jerky and trinkets, and seen/ watched enough loons this month that I don't need to go to get a monthly fix as well.
Hate to say it, but the day of deals at the Tanner gun show are long gone (ever since the gun show ruling took effect and the non-dealers where having to pay the dealers to run back ground checks, and just gave up). |

MGTS will be there . Got the ASAP plate ya need as well as UBR's PRS's including ones for the FAL :D. ACS stocks in a couple of colors. oh yeha. and a SCAR. :D:D:D |
|
Didnt see too many deals. Prices are coming down, except on some stuff (paid $2/rd for .50AE Saw zwvirtual in the parking lot, and KellyTTE inside... That SCAR was sexy. Parking and traffic is a damned nightmare because of that Xmas show on the otherside of the complex... |
| Yeah, parking was major suckage(love that phrase since I read it in one of Ringo's books!!!), idiot dealers lost lots of $$$ in sales 'cuz they didn't want to talk to me and my daughter, MGT was as usual a pleasure to buy from, however he doesn't know when he's gonna get some BADs in. Wish I'd picked up some of the LC brass a guy had last show, he didn't have any today. Sigh, maybe next time. That'll learn me! |

Tac $20 a lb. Small rifle primers $38 -$35 for wolf brand. Did not see cci primers or varget but I wasn't really looking. Yup, picked up a lb. of TAC to try at $20, not sure if that was a good price or not, since I have no pre-election knowledge of it's pricing. Saw WW primers at $35/1K. Several larger powder containers 4lb'ers and some 8lb'ers. Good to see. What was with the guy with 1000's of rounds of dirty .308 brass. He and his buddy were busy bagging it up and I never made it back there. Was that that priced right? Got my ASAP plate and some Magpul items at MGT. Thanks guys. JKF was there with what cold only be described as everything AK. Un-believable! No kits though. Again an un-believable selection of non-U.S. and U.S. parts. Anyone looking to get U.S. compliance parts or AK builder flats should swing by there. |

sweet... I'll have to pick me one of those bakelites up (if they are under $60). Oh yea...well they were not that cheap. he had several but the lowest ones were $99. Look around these are the Grail of AKs the best prices I have found these for was about 60-75 and then you had to pay shipping from England... So these are probably at the current rate. |

That's not the current rate... that is way too high just like everything else at these shows it seems. Here's a fella selling them for $62 shipped... that is a fair price. LINK And here's another guy who sold 2 for $95 shipped LINK and they were nice ones. I'm still kicking myself for not getting these. Now a 40 round 7.62 bakelite... that is the holy grail of 7.62 AK mags By the way... did you see the huge price cut that K-Var has on their factory converted 7.62x39 Saiga's right now? WOW! It's looks like the AK bubble has burst!! |

FYI he does have bakolite 40s but I am not sure if they are 74' or 47'....I am not sure as to the price I want to say $130-$150. |
