How much are you guys getting? I've got 10 inches, and it's still coming down hard. It was enough to give me a snow day. |

Quoted:
at least 8" of Al Gore's best here in Fort Collins. Its melting pretty fast though, making things a sloppy mess. Update: At 5pm, I went out side, and on top of my AC unit, there was well over a foot, and thats not from drifts either. Are you east Fort collins? I did not measure but I think we have acout a foot were none has melted. |

Quoted: I catch a flight at 740 tomorrow. Any bets on it being on time? as long as it gets here for the overnight tonight (assuming it is an overnight plane) then you have a good chance. this time of year the airlines start to build extra time into the flight to account for de-icing. And denver is one of the best when it comes to de-ice. Where are you off to? |

Biggest thing will be all the people that miss the flight because they didn't leave the house in time to deal with the roads. |

"I can't get in to work, my car wont make it in the snow, and I'm stuck in my driveway..."
Well guess what? Get your shit together because I'm coming to pick your ass up. See you in thirty... What the hell is wrong with people. I am not staying and working a double because you are too lazy to shovel your shit out and get your ass into work. You will not sit at home watching the snow melt off by noon while your co-workers are shorted. Fuck you. Get your ass in the truck... We had people calling in at 1600 YESTERDAY for todays AM shift.

We had people calling in at 1600 YESTERDAY for todays AM shift. ![]() Hehe, up here you might be able to get out of your driveway, but the rest of the neighborhood is fucked. I have never seen a city plow come through our little sud-division. Both of our exits face to the west, where the wind is blowing from and they get drifted over pretty good when we get this much snow. I will say; that if you are going to live in this part of the country that you need a decent 4x4. Sure front wheel drives do good in a few inches of snow, but not so well in feet of snow. Both of our primary vehicles are 4x4. |

People will use any opportunity to miss work. I wish I had a yank strap, I'd go around pulling people out of snow banks and the like. Some dude at our apartment got his Honda Civic stuck in his parking spot, had to give him a nice push. :)
It's too bad people aren't held accountable anymore. My wife worked at a job where people would call in sick all the time for stupid reasons. One girl was notorious for calling in sick due to having hangovers. Hello, you know the schedule 2 weeks in advance, you know you have to work at 6:30 AM, don't stay up until 2am drinking and smoking! And- she still has a job- in fact, since my wife is leaving, she's #1 seniority. |

One side said "Pull you out for 70 bucks" The other side said "Tow Trucks charge 150, my price is now 100". Only took cash. He wasnt the nicest guy I dont think but I bet he made a killing in the snow. |

just finished shoveling the driveway. that SUCKED!!! the guy across the street with the snow blower waved at me. I did that too. Sure keeps you warm.
I've got at least 2.5 feet of snow, maybe even 3 ft. I'm in the 285 corridor btw. EDIT: Just realized I made a dupe.

We got about 20 inches here near Tabletop mountain. More than 30 in a few spots where it drifted. It was hilarious watching a group of about 15 deer making their way through the snow.
It was chest deep on them in most places and one of the young ones hopping around fell in a drift up to his head. Took him a little bit to get back out but he went right back to hopping around while the others waded through |
