Can anybody recommend me a good CCW coruse in the Metro denver area? I want to get my CCW and lo and behold the girlfriend told today when I was talking about it told me she wants to get hers as well.

The classes are so basic, that I wouldn't worry about finding a "good" one. Find a cheap one that fits your schedule so that you can get your permits, and then invest in some quality training when you can swing it.

With all due respect, I strongly disagree with that.  There's a HUGE difference between a well taught class, and a shitty class.  And that difference doesn't have to be in price.

Picked up a few fliers at the Tanner show on Sunday.  Has anyone used either Praetorian Services Group or Wild Bill's Shooting and Gun Safety?  They both say they use NRA certified instructors (and Praetorian says they have a CLEFIA instructor as well).  The price seems right, I was wondering if it was time well spent.

Possibly. I have been to two classes that were designed for getting a CCW permit. Neither provided much in the way of useful information. It seemed like all they were interested in was teaching the minimum required (which is fine).

870Fan- check your PMs.

I teach for a company called Defensive Response & we have a few classes coming up through the end of the year.  We're all NRA certified instructors & two of us, myself included, are Options for Personal Security instructors for Andy Stanford.

Got Mine through Colorado Personal Security.  Gave me a good class rate when I rounded up a few of my buddies for a group class.
